From aerobics to line dancing to horseshoes and basketball - there's something for everyone!

Aerobics: Held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10:30am at Trinity UMC in Room E228 and E229. For more information, contact Shirley Waterman at 379.0458.

Line Dancing: This class is Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at 1:30pm. Classes are available for all skill-levels. For more information, contact Shirley Waterman at 379.0458.

Horseshoes: We pitch Horseshoes in the fall, once the weather cools down.

Basketball: Join us for some friendly basketball on Friday mornings at 9:00 am. We'll be playing on the outdoor basketball courts

Slo-pitch Softball: 55+ every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 AM on the softball fields. The 65+ group meets on Mondays at 9 AM. Both groups are open to males and females. Females can attend either group regardless of age. Come and join us if you're interested!

Pace of Grace: Beginning and intermediate walking/running groups that meet on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 7:45-8:45. We gather at the Welcome Center and begin with a short prayer, run/walk, then cool-down stretch. All levels are welcome! No registration is necessary, come and bring a friend! Yoga Chapel: Held on Thursdays at 9:15am in the Youth Building, this non-traditional worship experience is a Christ-centered yoga service that incorporates the benefits of contemplative practice, creating a greater sense of God's grace and presence at work in our lives while reducing the effects of stress and strengthening our bodies.     Crosstrainers After-School Sports Experience

    Crosstrainers is an action packed sports experience that is full of exercise and energy for kids in 1st through 5th grades. We play and teach fundamentals for basic sports and large group games. On Wednesday, we'll combine the action of Crosstrainers with the excitement of CHEERS for CHEERSplus. **We will pick up from Talbot Elementary on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday**

    Options: Crosstrainers is offered for full or half sessions and Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Session A runs August 13 - October 1 and Session B is October 3 - November 21.

    Exercise Class for those with Chronic Pain

    This class is for those who find their lives limited by pain caused by arthritis, fibromyalgia or other reasons. It will be a combination of yoga, stretching, strength-building and balance exercises that will help participants live with less pain. Mary Jo will show participants very basic to more advanced movements that can lead to more pain-free and productive lives. Bring a small towel, water bottle, and yoga mat.     Holy Yoga Worship Flow

    Holy Yoga is a Christ-centered, non-traditional worship experience that is open to all! This contemplative encounter draws upon the ancient practices of movement and meditation to develop a greater sense of God's grace and presence at work in our lives. Science has proven that regular Yoga practice reduces the effects of stress while stretching and strengthening our bodies, leading to greater well-being. So grab your mat (or borrow one of ours), dress comfortably, and join us for an hour as we experience the joy of worshiping Christ with Pointe of Grace yoga instructor, Franny Long. Time to Order Christmas Trees!

Can you believe it's time to order already? These Fraser Fir trees (the most popular Christmas tree in the U.S.!) will be cut from a tree farm in Virginia just a few days before they arrive in Gainesville, and the proceeds will be used to support Trinity's sports ministry. Trinity has sold trees from this farm for the last four years, so if you plan to buy a fresh cut tree this year, Trinity is the place to get it!

Deadline to order is November 18th. Trees available for pickup at Trinity from Friday, November 25th through Sunday, November 27th from 8:30-10:30am. Deliveries (if applicable) will take place on Nov. 28th, 29th and 30th. Order online now!

Children's Sports

Below is a brief listing of the sports programs we offer for children. For detailed information on programs that are open for registration, please visit our upcoming events or main sports pages.

Upward Flag Football & Cheerleading

For boys and girls age 5 through 8th grade and takes place in the spring.


Upward Basketball & Cheerleading

Basketball and Cheerleading for children age 5 - 8th grade and takes place in the fall.


Upward Soccer

Soccer for children age 3 - 8th grade and starts in July/August.


T-Ball/Coach-Pitch

Our summer T-ball league is designed for kids 3-6 years old.


Crosstrainers Sports Camp

Crosstrainers is an action packed sports camp that is full of exercise and energy for elementary aged kids. We play and teach fundamentals for basic sports, have crazy group games, and exciting "themed" days that provide an opportunity for the kids to dress up and just be goofy. Crosstrainers is available both as an after-school camp throughout the school year and a summer camp.
