Church Council meets on the 4th Monday of each month. It is the central decision making body of the church and includes our pastors, several lead staff members, and members of the congregation who lead and serve in various areas of ministry.
Discipleship Team meets periodically to plan and implement opportunities for adults to grow in their faith through small groups, Bible studies, Sunday School, and other experiences. The team includes the director of adult ministries plus up to nine church members.
Executive Team meets on the 3rd Monday of each month. It includes our pastors, the lay leader, the church council leader, and the team leaders for Finance, Staff-Parish (HR), and Trustees. This team engages in visioning, strategic planning, and ongoing assessment of the health and vitality of the church.
Finance Team meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. It includes our pastors, the church business administrator, representatives from the Trustees and the Trinity Foundation, the Lay Leader, the Church Council leader, and up to nine church members. This team's responsibilities include recommending the annual budget to the Church Council, ongoing oversight and review of church finances, and nurturing generosity within the congregation.
Lay Leadership Team meets weekly during early fall in order to discern and recommend team members and leaders to the annual Charge Conference. The team also meets periodically throughout the year to consider ways to enhance and support leadership across the life of the church and also to recommend persons as needed to fill ministry team positions. The team includes our pastors, lay leader, and up to nine church members.
Missions Team meets on the 2nd Monday of each month. It includes the director of missions plus up to nine church members. The primary focus of the team is to plan and implement opportunities for adults to give and to serve through Trinity in ways that reach beyond the church into our community and around the world.
Staff Parish Relations Team meets on the 1st Monday of each month. It includes our pastors, the lay leader, the Church Council leader, the lay delegate to the Florida Annual Conference, and up to nine church members. This team works to ensure that Trinity is optimally staffed to fulfill the mission and vision of the church.
Trustees Team meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. It includes the events and facilities coordinator, the church business administrator, and up to nine church members. The purpose of this committee is to oversee all matters related to the use and care of grounds and facilities.
