Journey through Prophets & Kings to the Promised Land

(Sundays, August 27 - November 12, 2 - 3:30pm, room 203, 20, June Masters). Why here? Why now? Just as the time and place of our birth and life shapes our journey, so the land and culture of the Hebrew people shaped their story. Learn how God guided his people to a specific place - the Promised Land - to impact the world both in ancient times and today. Whom shall I serve? In ancient times, the consequences of their choices are the stories that make up the Old Testament. We will explore the turbulent history of Israel's Prophets and Kings and learn from their story how to build our own devotion to and trust in God. Course fee is payable in the bookstore or on the first day of class. Childcare is available.
